ACE This was my
first tomato. My
grandfather introduced me to this tomato when I was 9 years old. We use
to pick
it and go to my uncle Harvey's house during the summer. It was amazing.
Once
slice would cover the entire bun.
BETTER BOY If you do not like
staking tomatoes
stay away from this monster. 8 feet of vines loaded with delicious
whoppers. Wow
is all I can say. The variety is a little soft and the bugs tend to
like it, especially
those big horn worms.
BIG BEEF
This tomato was an all American award winner in
1993. Personally, it is my favorite tomato. The tomato is so firm that
in theory you could hall it to San Francisco, back to Kingsburg,
and back again. Practically you can't because it is always bought in
bulk by customers. They love it. One question always asked is,"where is
the BIG beef?"
Early Girls
The best salad tomato of all time. It is sweet and crunchy
mixed together. It is probably the best known tomato in the farmers
market
.
